Specification of goods:

Transport capacity is 30 000 – 120 000 day-old birds.

The actual hatching eggs capacity is depending on the loading accessories and scheme applied by the costumer as well as on the trucks’ carrying capacity.

We would like to offer you proven solution, which can guarantee the safe transport of day-old poultry in the range of outside temperature – 30 C to + 45 C

Body:

Isothermal body is tailored to the best performance for day-old poultry transport.

Dimensions of the body:

Outside length max. possible: 9600 mm (13 600 mm for the semi-railer)

Outside width: approx. 2 600 mm

Outside height: approx. 2 750 mm

The dimensions of the body are chosen to get proper capacity and good ventilation.

There are double rear doors for good loading of trolleys with boxes for chicks.

There are two side doors in the body – one on the driver’s side and one on the opposite side for easy inspection of conditions in the body during the transport.

Body is equipped with fixing system for trolleys, consisting of the front and sidewalls protection, side and front cargo rails and 2 cargo keepers in the back.

The reason of this fixing system is for both fixing trolleys and also for making distances between rows of trolleys for good ventilation.

External marking lights are to the EU standards.

Lifting platform:

The vehicle is equipped by a folding lifting platform (so called “slider” – hidden beneath the chassis) for easy loading of trolleys.

The lifting platform has the lifting capacity 1 500 kg and is made by Bar Cargolift Company.

Trolleys:

Trolleys are specially designed with fixing system for loading plastic boxes with base dimension 600 x 400 mm. (or other)

Loading is per 20 – 30 boxes in each trolley, boxes are loaded in two columns, per 10 – 15 boxes in one column and 100 birds in each box for specified capacity.

Power Pack:

Power Pack generates electricity and drives cooling. It runs air-condition (heating and cooling), ventilation and charges auxiliary accumulators and truck’s accumulator without running of the truck’s engine.

It increases redundancy by doubling or even tripling electricity and air-conditioning system, which increases safety of the transport significantly.

Power pack consists of diesel engine, alternator and cooling compressor.

Diesel engine:

Diesel engine drives the power pack, which enables to run ventilation and air-condition without running of the truck’s engine. Diesel engine is with water-cooling. All functions and service periods of the diesel engine are monitored by the control unit – for example warning is given when the change of oil is expected etc.

The fuel for the diesel engine is taken from the truck’s tank – so no extra care is needed.

Auxiliary accumulators:

Auxiliary accumulators are connected with the truck’s 24 V DC electricity system. They can drive ventilation and heating when engine stops.

When the truck’s engine is running, the auxiliary accumulators are connected automatically with the truck’s electricity system, which enables to drive electricity system from the truck’s system.

So, auxiliary accumulators are charged by the truck’s engine or by power pack.

Ventilation:

Ventilation is supplied by the system of air channels combined with input, output and re-circulating valves, which gives uniform ventilation in the whole body.

Both air channels – roof and floor – can be easily opened for easy cleaning and disinfections. All can be washed by water, because only non-corrosive materials – aluminium, stainless steel and plastics are used.

Air filters are accessible from outside for easy cleaning even during trip.

To increase safety (running of ventilation is essential for safe transport), the electric system is tripled; it can take energy from truck’s alternator, from power pack or from auxiliary accumulators.

Air-condition:

The air-condition system is “full air-condition”; it means that it can both to heat and to cool. This full air-condition together with good ventilation increases safety of the transport mainly during hot summer days.

The air-conditioning is controlled automatically by the control unit, or it can be controlled manually by the driver from the driver’s cabin.

Heating:

The heating capacity is approx. 2×35 kW provided by the independent hot water heating WEBASTO.

The heating is controlled automatically by the control unit, or it can be controlled manually by the driver from the driver’s cabin.

Cooling:

The cooling capacity is approx. 70kW.

The compressor in the power pack is BOCK make.

The cooling is controlled automatically by the control unit, or it can be controlled manually by the driver from the driver’s cabin.

Control unit:

The control unit is in the driver’s cabin.

The control unit can do following:

Automatic regulation of the air-condition, heating and cooling

Automatic regulation of the air flow

Complex transport monitoring – all data are stored into the unit’s internal memory for printing a transport protocol on built-in printer and for further data analysis on a PC thus you can check the whole transport, temperatures, setting of air condition, drivers manipulating etc. (similar as “black box” in airplanes)

The built-in printer for printing of the transport protocol – it is an evidence of the transport conditions and when signed by both the driver and the customer, it can be an evidence about delivery.

It displays on large display temperatures and also faults of air-condition, servo positions etc.

The menu of the control unit will be in the English language.

All accessories for the data transfer to a PC and the software itself are included.
